If you were the mother of identical twins you would easily tell them apart because you "know" them. Many little things. Physical emotional energy.John, will you please answer the riddle? (I asked how you distinguish between them long ago... And I am still clueless)
I think this every time I read about one dismantling his cage..... despite the lovely Elvis stories from @sunnysmomGood thing I don’t have cockatoos!
Bigger everything. Amanda is around 650gm. Tika is around 950gms.They're so pretty! Tika has a bigger beak, doesn't he?
That was my guess too. Solely based on size. That was my guess! I think the males are bigger, and Tika definitely looks bigger than Amanda. If they weren't standing side-by-side it would be harder. Amanda has beautiful doe eyes in that photo!
LOL. I have another story from today. I wasn't going to post it but maybe I will....I think this every time I read about one dismantling his cage..... despite the lovely Elvis stories from @sunnysmom
As the mother of identical twins, I agree. Your twins are almost as cute as mineAmanda is on the left. Tika is on the right.

If Tika was wild in a Flock he would have been the leading sentinel of the group. Absolutely nothing gets past those big black eyes. LolIt was in the eyes. Amanda is fully chill and happy to hang out. Tika is calm but keeping an eye on the cameraman with a hint of warning in him. Hard to describe. It's a cockatoo thing I guess?
