What to do on the way to emergency vet?

So the nearest emergency avian vet is 2 hours 5-38 minutes away. I’d like to know what i should do in the event of an emergency to keep my bird(s) as stable and comfortable as possible. Also sorry if this isn’t the right forum to post this!

I've heard that like for most (all?) animals, keeping them warm is essential.

Keep them warm quiet and hydrated is what I was told
