What breed?

I was visiting some family and they have a really sweet dog, they said her breed was called Russian, I’m pretty sure no such breed exists so I was wondering what breed she treally was I did some searching but couldn’t find anything, then again I’ve never had a dog, or maybe she’s not an official breed and more of a popularized hybrid? Anyways thanks for y’all’s help!
plus I just realized that she’s looking pretty dirty so they’re gonna give her a bath tmrw

The dog does look similar to a spitz too! Although the spitz is a Japanese breed. Both breeds are pretty similar but they have a pretty big weight difference via a quick web search!

There are many artic Spitz breeds. Many originated from Siberia.

I agree. American Eskimo spitz, not a Japanese breed. Or a mix, as several suggested. The head type is not exactly spitz.
