What are the chances?

I see posts on facebook by Max to Moluccan quite a bit and enjoy warching their videos.
Yesterday I saw a post that they had just adopted a moluccan named Mango (Mr. Magoo).
I asked if they were by chance in Canada and they replied that they were.
I sent them a nessage stating I rehomed a moluccan cockatoo named Mr. Magoo regretfully when we moved overseas in 2015.
What are the chances it's my one bird I never got over rehoming?

It's mixed emotions tbh.
Heartache being the first, but then happiness knowing he has found a good home with Max and I can see him on facebook. But then the heartache again knowing I can't touch him, sing with him, or dance with him....

Not yet. I should have sent a private message but just replied n the comments section once they confirmed they were in Canada.

They might not want to confirm this with you for fear over you trying to persue action to get the bird back (they don't know you like we do, to them you are simply a stranger).
Don't be disheartened if they don't reply.
I hope it brings you comfort that it might be him, and he's in a good home

They did reply. Unfortunately it's not my Mr. Magoo. He was adopted to them from owners who had him since he was a baby. At 25 years old, they felt they were getting too old to care for him like they wanted so rehomed him.
Thise people must be heartbroken. It would be like their child leaving home after 25 yesrs. Wow. My heart goes out to them.
