Raccoons are back. I haven't seen that one raccoon in a while. I wonder if these are her babies. There are at least 3 but the 3rd just pop their head a few times and I didn't get them on camera. They have been for a few hours now

I caught the third one. I was too slow to get great pictures but this one is cute, two of them looking at each other.

They've left the tree now. I only saw 3 climbed down. They were so cute, they started playing and grooming each. But I only saw a bit because they weren't in a great place for me to see. I did catch them staring to wake up bit then go back to sleep. Just before they got up for good. It's as if they had a snooze alarm Raccoons

The raccoons really like hanging out in that tree, especially that one spot. Though two them were there with one higher up. They were all back together this afternoon.


I saw a Turkey vulture on the road eating. I see them all the time up way high in the sky. This is the first time seeing one this close.

Well… I was doing my 4:45 AM feeding with the chicks and I cracked open a window for some fresh air, sat back down, and as I was about to start feeding, I heard a coyote howl in my backyard I nearly had a heart attack!! Glad I decided to put the dogs in the hallway instead of letting them out… no photo of the yote, but here are the chicks, unbothered!!!

Not the best pic, but this is the first time seeing a live one in Spain for me! He was just off the beach in the middle of nowhere snacking on the cat food in the shelter for street cats.

Hedgehog. He was a big one too. Obv managed to survive the heat eating and drinking in the stray cat shelter.
