What a Difference a Month Makes!

My little babies are coming along nicely! They've already graduated from the syringe to a spoon. It's a lot easier and I can increase the consistancy as needed.

I call one Big bird and the other Little bird so far. Big bird is twice the size of Little bird and they are only a day apart in age.

I'm wondering if the hobble which restricts Little bird to almost no activity could affect the size and hunger ratio.

Big bird eats twice as much and runs all over the place. He/she jumps out of his bed all day and is practically stepping up already. :dancing:

I feel sooo sorry for sweet Little Bird, I just hold him and pet him.

Thanks guys! I just love them and play with them as much as I can. I can't wait until the tiny one gets out of the hobble. It's not looking too good so far. When I change the vet tape he is just as splayed.

There are so many experts here who could answer that question better than me, but I think they're general type is called peachfaced normal green. These two babies I think are considered pied because they don't have any black on their beaks like a normal green. I need to find out for sure from someone who's good with mutations.

If anyone can help me with the color mutation I'd appreciate it. Molly is in pix 1. I'm wondering if her coloring is that of a Lutino? Someone had said she may have a violet factor...
The babies have no black on their beaks... does that mean they're pied??
