Awww that's so cute! Kai makes a taking sound so similar to that. I always things he is saying "pretty birdie" but that was so clearly "what ya doin" how did you teach her to talk? Is it something they just get or don't get? Kai is almost 6 so I assume if he were going to be a talker we would know by now.
Diego's really my talker, and Petunia is mimicking him! The key for me was taking a sound that they make naturally, and repeating it back to them with words. And just the luck of a bird that will adapt to it. I never expected it, it just happened! Diego has Whatcha Doin, Peekaboo (Chickie and Jojo helped with that!), Pretty pretty birdie, and I think I've heard "Diego" and "Step Up"!

Oh, yes! Tucker and his baths when he thinks he needs one......he's a fast little guy like all caiques are but for some reason when he's squealing and darting and flapping in and out of his water bowl he seems to do it at the speed of light! Nasty if he's done it right after making soup out of his water.....he then gets a Mom dousing in the sink!
