Hi, everone!
I'm new here, obviously, and I came here because I will be getting my first cockatiel soon and this seemed like a good place.
I'll try to post a few pictures soon of the bird that I may (or do) get. Right now I'm having a hard time deciding and I'm waiting to hear from the breeder about everything. She was the first 'good news' I got when it came to finding a good bird and I'm really excited about it all.

Any advice would be great and I hope to talk to you all soon.

Yes this will be my first bird.
I'm an animal lover and have had everything else (dogs, cats, horses, goats, rabbits, fish, guinea pigs, hamsters...) so I thought I'd try this. I'd really love to have a bigger bird one day, but a cockatiel seemed to be the best place to start. And since I'm studying to be a vet. tech I'll probably learn some new and helpful things, as well as experience, from having one. I'm sure I'll like my decision.
