Recently in say the last couple of months Meru has decided that he LOVES my mom.. usually he is good about going to people, but lately he as taken a liking to her and does not like me to pick him up! He went completely over the edge this week when I had to trim his nails, I waited as long as I could... but they had to be done and unfortunatly he has always hated towels or gloves (which I wont use as all my birds are afraid of them). I cannot not use a towel when I trim or else my fingers would be turned into swiss cheese!
Well after I got him all trimmed up and that evil towel was removed he flew as fast as he could across the room to my mom, away from evil towel- which he now assiocates with me!!
Even though its a little unnerving, I guess I dont mind as much I just want him to be happy.
