I haven't been on here much lately, because I've been very sidetracked with a certain little white furbaby. This is Eni, she is currently in SF and will be making her way to Seattle over the next couple of days with our bunny transporter lol, leaving there tonight!
We'd been thinking of adopting another bun lately, to *hopefully!* bond with Rufus, and had found a white lionhead mix at a shelter that I'd fallen for. Before her adoption had gone through though, I saw a post on a bunny forum about 3 bunnies who were due to be euthanized this last sunday. Two were adopted after the shelter volunteer posted, and Eni was the only one left by saturday night. I couldn't take it anymore, and wrote to the lady asking if she could find a temp foster home until I was able to figure out transportation...she managed to, and I found someone who was willing to take Eni along and care for her on their drive from SF to Seattle.
So the little bun will have a new home here. Hopefully she and Rufus will like each other in time, but I know it'll be a process. She's cage aggressive, and skittish...I'm excited though. And trying to think of a new name...so far I have a few ideas, but I think it'll have to wait until we meet her.
Anyway, thought I'd share...I'm practically counting down the hours until friday evening when she'll be arriving (if all goes well), I'm so happy that she's ok. Sunday morning was so nerve wracking.
