Here is a video of it - he makes the sound around the 14 second mark. We’ve looked up Quaker noise videos, but can’t seem to find this one. It seems hard to get a video of it, because the second I point my phone at him he stops doing it.
He’s not distressed or anything while making it, he generally seems to just go “brrrt brrrt brrrt” while exploring about. Is it a “what’s this? What’s that? What’s this?” noise, like he’s curious about something? I feel like I can safely say he’s not very distressed while making the noise, because moments after walking around doing that he’ll stop to either preen himself, preen me, or hold his foot up and just look comfortable.
