Using a Sunbeam Food Processor to finely chop, I made layers of veggies:

Carrots
Cucumber
Red Beets
Butternut Squash
Red Peppers
Broccoli
Shelled Sunflower seeds
Chai Seeds

The birds LOVED it!

 Thanks for sharing Deborah! Everything sounds yummy. Now I'm wondering.. are the beets cooked or raw? Does it make a MESS?

Nothing was cooked, everything was washed and raw (gives their beaks a work out and is not so "easy" to eat. Not really. They didn't seem to be throwing it everywhere...

let's see if this vid works of the birdroom (they were given a treat after eating).

That looks so yummy!

I love your bird room too, and all your birds are so happy and healthy, they're beautiful, you must be so proud of them. :)

Thanks guys!:highfive:

The birds room isn't all it "could" be yet, but those nets and the ability to fly from toy to toy seems to keep them happy. I haven't found that they need a lot of toys to keep them happy when they can fly and roost comfortably in safety (they don't even wake up when I walk though their room to the bathroom in the middle of the night:hehe:).

When they were caged, and let out for periods of time, I found that they would chew my walls (got a few souveniors), but once they went cage free, I don't find that they chew the walls (and I have mineral blocks in different places) they are busy flying from tree to tree, water, playground net, toys on the ceiling, etc.:dance5:

I guess, I am just lucky!:dancing:
