An All Natural War.
The plumbers didn't properly caulk the pipes coming into the bird room.
Small brown ones since the last two weeks....come out from behind the sink during the night and leave gross evidence on the wiped clean counter
Last night at midnight i walked in and five of them were holding hands and dancing a merry jig at the sink. They saw me and scattered...I saw where they vanished into.
1.I taped up all the gaps between the wall and cabinet.
2. I pumped a teaspoon of cranberry flavored kitchen foam soap into a pan of water and set it on the counter.
3. I stuck an osage orange under the sink in the bottom cabinet. (Mr. Hedgeapple sent me 4)
They never came back.
Not one.
So what did the trick?
a. the taped up access edges
b.the soapy water
c. the osage orange
Tonight :
So trying to decide which by the process of elimination.
skipped soapy water.
still taped up edges
still osage orange
Will report if they came in tonight, in the AM.
Osage Orange: not going to let the birds get to them, but are the mild odor MOLECULES toxic, anyone know?
