Another lost African Grey Parrot needs prayers finding his way home. His name is Jasper, and he was lost this morning. He lives in Long Island, NY area. Please say a prayer he is home soon. If you hear of one found please let me know. I will post more info once I get it.

Is it just me or are Grey's the most likely bird to head out the door? It's seems they make up a larger percentage of birdies who go MIA. Is it because their so intelligent and curious?

I was wondering that exact same thing, Ginger. It does seem like you hear of a lot of Greys going out the door.

I'll tell you why my Grey got out. Because she was easily spooked by abrupt noises. The dog barked and so she flew off. But the dog barked because my daughter was coming home from school and so she opened the door at the exact moment that she opened the door Dakota was flying around from the barking. Only took a split second to get out. I think it's just because Greys are more jumpy.

Didn't find a grey, but I did get a nanday out of my tree this morning that was being chased by a hawk. Going to be looking for signs today. He's a sweetie. I'm hoping he's missed.
