Was sitting in the lounge on the laptop tonight, Batman had been out on the coffee table and started getting silly with her need to sit near hubby and so I used the stick ( cannot touch her by hand lately ) and took her back to the cage.

Next thing I know she FLEW from the cage to just short of the couch I was on!
I was so shocked without thinking I leaned down to pick her up and she was so shocked she got on my hand happily.

I popped her up behind me on teh back of the couch and next thing she FLEW to dh's couch!

I managed to get a small flight on vid as well, she was so exhausted that she let me give her full pats!!!!!!!

rosella's arent known for speech, but I have seen one or two older ones one youtube who can.
They are great at mimicking whistles and tunes though

dont be fooled though they can also let out a long piercing loud call too.

personality wise they are naturally rather aggressive and stand offish which is why most dont consider them good companion birds. During breeding season the hormones create even great aggression as well.

That said though I wouldn't change a thing about my vicious little girl LOL
