Urgent Twilight is sick!

My poor bird was fine at noon, but then at 1:00 he was lethargic. He had regurgitated this weird white mass, and was trying to regurgitate more, but nothing would come out. I’ve been calling vets in my area, and they are all busy or not in today. I found one an hour and a half away, and she can see me at 6:00. They close at 7:00. My question is, do you think she will be able to help him in that hour, or should I go to one of our regular vets around here tomorrow? I wouldn’t want him to have to spend the night there. I think he swallowed some loofa from a toy he’s been chewing on, but I’m not sure. I’m so worried about him, and I don’t know if he’ll last the night! @Milo

You don't have a choice from what you're saying. Take him in - I don't think your vet will look at her watch @ 7 p.m. and go "okay, done for the day, you'll have to come back another day". Most don't, they stick it out until the patient's been seen properly and the appointment is over.
