Toy parts are here!!

I've been waiting, checking tracking numbers, and waiting some more. And all of my toy parts (and my first order from PPBN) are here!

While I unpacked, Rain decided that she needed to "test" everything.

She loves the orbiter. I really bought it for Merlin, but Rain decided it's hers. Oh well, puts off saving for an atom.

Some of the plastic parts, and the big bag of wood spools and stuff are from Mother Pluckin'. The rest of the plastic parts (pacifiers, rings, etc) are from CA Bird Nerds. And it's all great.

Just finished dying some wood for them. (food colouring and Koolaid)

How do you think it turned out? this was my first attempt so it's not perfect.

Wow, that orbiter that Rain is sitting on is Clopin's FAVOURITE perching item! I got her one about two months ago and she adores it! I think it is the perfect size for her feet and just finds it very comfy.

Is Rain much of a chewer?

She's normally a pretty docile chewer, but she has her days. I'll come home to a cage full of splinters and leather, lol.

It's a female Plum-headed Parakeet,I'm currently looking for a male with not much luck =(

I had never heard of them either until joing AA (Plum Headed Parakeet) I would love one someday as well!

There are very few bird people I wouldn't recommend a plumhead to, between talking to several other owners and my experience with Rain.

And thank you, I like to think she's pretty gorgeous.
