I know I sort of just...disappeared from AA for awhile, but I'm back now. My little Evora passed away this Tuesday. She was less than a year old and everyone's little sweetheart. She died due to an unknown neurological disorder...she was scheduled to go to the vet on Wednesday for a diagnosis. She was suffering near the end, so with her passing came a sort of relief, I just wanted my poor girl to be free of her suffering, whatever that end would mean. It wasn't fair to her. This wasn't her first 'episode' of this, and we've been trying to figure out what the disorder actually was. After the last one, she returned to her normal, loud, happy conure self. This time, we were not so lucky.
I kept the vet appointment for Wednesday, but made it for Jasper instead, since I wanted to make sure he was okay. The vet says Jasper is in excellent health, so that is a good thing. Unfortunately, it doesn't really ease my family's loss of our little girl.
