I just got done hand feeding my nine month old Umbrella cockatoo as my Goffin hollars in the background and my conure screaming about his new toys...I just love a happy house:dancing:....A LOUD bird is a Happy Bird....:cool1:

I really don't think my baby wants to grow up yet...i think she knows it's hard....9 month rolling and she still is begging every night....I'm glad she's with me and not with someone else, because she would of starved to death....

My Goffin2 learned how to rollover ... not completely on her own yet but with little help...i hope that within the next few week she will be able to do it on her own....

Sorry random thoughts and wanted to share....Good Night!

The things I do for my bird....

My Goffins was force weaned. I handfed him warm feedings until he was about 2 years old! Every now and then he still begs for it but not that often. I totally relate :)

Truely my G2 will be two in February and she is still taking 1 to 2 feedings a week. Since she has been flying she has noticably slacked off on wanting them.

I have a U2 that was 14 months old before she weaned. She is a gorgeous, well adjusted Too, with no plucking, screaming or other behavioral issues. She is now 11 years old. Well worth letting her go at her own pace.
