They can be SOOOOO picky

So I just bought Jack A new Huge Cage. A nice 40x30 Avian Adventures to match the others.
(I got A great sale at One of those Big stores and I could NOT pass it up),
This means Napalm and Opal got "NEW" bigger cages too. (and they Are thrilled.)

Well to make it fit in the room I moved it to another wall. He was fine with the cage. First night he slept on his "new" perch" that I gave him.
( It was a wider perch that I thought he would be more comfy on)
Then I guess he either fell off his perch or had a fright. I calmed him down BUT he decided that for the last 2 nights that he wanted to sleep on the bottom of his cage.
Even though Last night I put his old sleep perch back in its same spot.
(I was Not too Happy about this and I don't think he was either.)
Every time I opened his door he would fly to Napalms cage.
(Which was his old cage on HIS old wall)
SOOO tonight I moved his NEW cage to his OLD wall while he was sitting on his OLD cage.
NEW cage on OLD wall and Jack flew right to his NEW cage and climbed inside.

And Guess what!!!! He is Happily sleeping on his old sleep perch.
I will post pics another day as I don't have time right now.

Now I have to move Napalms cage, just to get into my closet.
I guess you got to do what you got to do.

Now We are all Happy.

Thank you, I was not going to give up and continue to let him sleep on the bottom of his cage.This morning when I went in, he was still sleeping on his perch. He looked up at me and streched his wings when I put his veggies in his cage. I think he is content now.

Two nights and he is sleeping on his sleep perch. He went right in his cage for night night with out even being tricked with a treat.
He wouldn't do that in his old cage.
As a matter of fact, they all went in their new cages with out treats.
OF Course once they were in. They all Got a walnut.
I think they are all happy with the extra space. I know I am.
I had a lot of long hours this past week. They did not get much Fommy and Faddy time this week but that all changes tomorrow.
I think they will be happy to see me come in the room in the morning when their lights come on.
