This morning I had to take my roborovski hamster Swiss to the vet to be put to sleep. He was very very old and had cancer, one of his tumors ruptured and I was feeling just awful for him. Before we left I check on his brother "Ham" who is also very very old and frail but doesn't have cancer. Ham was peacefully sleeping in his little bed. I come home from the vet and before I bury Swiss I feel like peaking in on Ham again. I go to look to find he has passed away too, peacefully in his sleep. The came into this world together as brothers and when Swiss had to leave today I guess his brother felt he should go with him. They are my last hamsters for now. Roborovskis are the fastest breed of hamster so these two were always on the move, they made me laugh with their antics. Here is a cute picture of them from when they were very young:
