Okay, yes, that makes sense. Ollie weighs about 230 grams (his adult weight is supposed to be 250)--so they are about 100 grams lighter. So would you say that the Meyers and Red Bellies are around the size of Sun Conures?
Body size I guess they are about the same as Sun Conures, although they don't have nearly as long a tail.

Shorter tails seem to have an advantage. They don't get them as dirty I don't think. Poor Ollie has broken off most of his tail feathers rough housing. He's only got 4 left (baby tail). I hope that he doesn't break off blood feathers after he molts out, he's so active rolling around on the bottom of the cage with his jingle ball and dangling from things.
