The Greatest Shower

I have been giving Merlin showers a few times a week since he got here. He seems to enjoy it and preens so much afterward, but today he REALLY seemed to enjoy it. He threw his head back over and over, he opened his wings and moved into the water. The look on his face during today's shower said "Life is Good"....... After the shower he flapped and flapped!

Gotta love when they enjoy their showers tomorrow everyone gets a shower. Only Bahama and Wagner enjoy theirs a lot, Chewie & Freeway just mostly sit like wet lumps lol

This morning no one wanted a shower I took Autumn (GCC) and she didn't want to get onto her perch so I said ok and put her back in her cage. Merlin went onto his perch, but just wasn't into the shower as much as the other day. What is interesting is that I pulled my hair up and wasn't going to get it wet, I am wondering if he thought that I was resisting and that is why he was. We'll see next time
