Is peanut loud often? Is loud just certain times?
If noise is an issue, consider a Lineolated Parakeet. My two are vocal but they're pleasant sounds, quieter trills and funny geiger counter-like noises that are easy to live with. We recently had to re-home our lovebirds with a woman who already had lovebird experience as the noise was too much. We had two boys that would shriek at least 50% of the day and we just couldn't find a place for them in our home where the noise was tolerable. I get to keep tabs on them on Facebook so I can see them living their best life now, which is fantastic.

Many lovebird owners have expressed that theirs are pretty quiet, however, so perhaps we just got an odd one (or two)!

I think my flock is noisy about 50% of the time too. Some days more, some days I’d forget they are here! Depends on the time of year and hormones with my flock. Compared to the other birds I have I’d say their call is less loud/carries less far, although I can still hear them in the kitchen if I listen, kitchen is far away from the bird room. Their chatter is more constant compared to larger birds who call louder but less often usually.

Mine can be noisy but at certain times it’s only for about 10mins mornings afternoons and some evenings some days hardly any noise can only really hear them upstairs or at bottom of stairs I’ve found lots of foraging toys shedding toys keep them quiet
