Well, I was totally prepared to keep the girls away from each other for 30 days; however, after our vet visit, he said they can be in the same cage in 7-10 days. Everything he said made TOTAL sense. I ran it by our breeder too, and she is totally on board with his plan. So, our first step to getting them in the same cage was moving Sugar’s cage downstairs and putting it near Kiwi’s cage. We did this late yesterday, and Kiwi is like a starved child wanting a friend. She worked SO hard all evening to get Sugar’s attention! I was able to catch this video of Sugar paying attention to Kiwi. And watch how they follow each other down the side of the cage. Oh I can’t wait until Friday when they can play together on the floor! More videos for sure then too! Anyway, enjoy the “First Introduction.”
