Well worth every penny. I'd hate to see her moved to the bottom of the plane.

I assume you have a carrier? Make sure to take it on the cabin with you on the way there. You can get an idea about where the bird will be riding and talk to the flight attendants about procedures you will need to follow. Better to be forewarned!

I also paid for preferred seating so I would have enough room for her ...the carrier is being supplied by the rescue and it's a soft one the airline's approved...I called the airline and got all the info on flying with her ..I'm so excited

Hopefully the rescue is working with her on getting her used to the carrier.

we are under the two week mark .. I did the cover and light system yesterday and everything was good ...Im hoping that she doesnt get to upset on the flight from BC to Alberta ..could you imagine her screaming the whole way .. lol.. 13 days to go

So we are at the week mark ..Im leaving on the 4th and flying to BC ..Im so excited I can hardly stand myself ..

Ok peeps ..we are the 6 day mark ..Im very nervous at flying but she is worth it ..I cant wait to see all the birds at the rescue that will be so much fun ..I get in at 830 their time and get home at 730 my time ..so it will be a long day but better then driving it for sure ..I will tke tons of pic of the rescue .. I will give you guys a play by play from the moment Im on the plane then to the rescue then back ..its going too be exciting day

Well its two sleeps now ..I will be leaving this Wed ..to say Im excited is an under statement ..my nervousness about flying is interfering with my joy of finally going to pick her up ...I have emailed the rescue with my flight schedule and Im bringing a lil blanket to cover the carrier up to help with the stress of it all ..
