Hello Everyone,

I have just recently changed my birds hand feeding formula from Kaytee Eaxact to Roudybush Formula 3. They stopped feeding after one or two feedings. I have a Miligold Macaw , Blue and Gold Macaw and a Hyacinth Macaw. What should I do? should I mix the old formula with the new one? its been almost 18 hours since their last meal. How can I fix this situation? I need help before going to the vet and seeing the drastic weight change. Please if anyone can help, please advise.

Thank you,
Mohammed

Why did you switch them? Is the Kaytee unavailable?

Yes it's unavailable so I had to make a shotgun decision to pick a second in hand feeding formula to make sure their diet is still going. I have a little of the old Kaytee still left should I mix the both formulas together or just wait till they are hunger driven to accept the new formula.

The Miligold is about 4 months , the blue and gold is about 3 months and the hyacinth is about 13 months old.
