Well as some of you know I was debating on getting a new Indian Ringneck. I was looking for something young and something other than green. I was figuring I would have to wait until spring when the new breeding season started.

Well today I found out about someone who had 4 month old babies for sale. Turns out they had 2 left but the green one sold earlier - leaving a sweet baby blue. So guess what is home in quarantine now?

Thanks everyone! In keeping with the rest of the names we are going to call her (him?) Cookie - short for Cookie Monster.

And would it be bad to call Cookie a "her" until we otherwise know?

Cookie is settling in nicely. Not too sure about the idea of kisses yet but she sure likes hanging out on me and trying to use me as a chew toy. I know IRNs go through a bluffing stage - but is 4 months too early? She really isn't being aggressive - just seems to be trying out that big red beak of hers and my fingers are convenient.
