Hmmmm not immediately. I stopped spending time in her room during morning since March. Then I got a new cat in June. Her breakfast time being pushed 30 mins behind March though.
I have hyperthyroidism and recent months... my symptoms flare up a bit however it’s getting control since September.

Ther were changes here and there... that’s true.

Well the good news is that your bird doesn't have a fatal disease as the vet suspected.

@Hankmacaw what about a fecal flotation? Isn't that one used to discover eggs, larvae, protozoa? Would a gram stain also show the same things?

Flotation does and gram stains not to the same accuracy. Depends on whether the bug is sensitive to the stain.
