Sun conure

Hey,
I got a new pet Sun conure, he was very active on the day one but he is less active on the day three today. Is it normal for the New pet to be quiet and less active for a few days.? He's 4 months old.

Short answer: yes.

It's a big change for a big: new environment, new people, new sounds, new routine. Parrots are prey animals, so tend to respond to this by getting quieter while they figure out whether or not they are in danger. Be kind, patient and consistent - don't force your bird to come out of his cage or to step up, make sure that he is eating and drinking, and give him time to settle in.
