I have 2 Sun conures, both are of 2 years of age, they breed and gave birth to four eggs and now it's been 10 days since the first egg has hatched and presently all four eggs are hatched. At night there is a continuous noise the new babies, they don't stop. What should I do? Are they making noises because of heat, because I live in India and now it's summer time and the temperature goes to 35 to 40 degree celcius and at night I cover their cage with thick cotton clothes. So, do they make noises because of heat? Or the parents are supposed to feed them at night but they are not feeding. What is the reason? they are making noise continuously.

Hello Dev.
Have you checked the chicks crops to be sure they are being fed?
As it is warm where you are, can you put a thermometer in the nest and check the temperature? Maybe cover the cage with something thinner?
And yes, the parents need to be feeding the little ones around the clock, including nighttime.
