Successful dental!

I’m pleased to report that after much anxiety (from me) & much excitement (from Ruby, who adores the vet), she had her dental cleaning this week & all is well!

I have two flavours of enzymatic toothpaste & a variety of toothbrush like implements.

She needs vet wipes, Dernachlor 4, for life, but is otherwise fine, thanks. It was a long road back. One vet said minimum twice weekly, the other said daily, but I also have to think of my relationship with my dog. I’m hoping every second day works out. She lets me, but always looks askance at me!

I can imagine! I’m glad it’s under control now though, she really is a beautiful pup!

Thanks! She’s really enjoying the vanilla mint toothpaste. The fabric finger toothbrushes for dogs are a game changer! She doesn’t mind my finger but dislikes plastic toothbrushes.
