Hi all,

I sprouted for the first time a couple of days ago. :dance4: And I noticed that the garbanzo beans have a slight yeasty smell to them and they were this way in the beginning soaking stages. Is this normal? They're not slimy or discolored or anything, just a hint of that odor. I also sprouted Adzuki and Mung and they have almost no odor at all.

I didn't know you could sprout garbanzo beans? Are all beans able to be sprouted for birds?

Tamara from TLC Aviary posted a good video in this forum fairly recently that gives a quick lesson on how to sprout. Might want to do a quick search for that one.

I actually watched that video and that is how I sprouted these.
