Thank you so much Cynthia....We have Crows here in New England and I swear, once in a while I see a VERY LARGE one and think it is a Raven!LOL

They are so amazing. We occassionally have them here, usually in late summer. We have oodles of crows and magpies, but Ravens are so much larger and different - not nearly as brave and social with humans as the crows are. They really are beautiful!

We see them pass through this area very rarely; last year I got to see four at a lake near our house. They have such a beautiful voice, though they're much harder to observe than crows since they are so skittish and neophobic. I'm hoping to hear back some time and see if they'll be there this winter as well, as they're pretty much my favorite native species.
