Is it a piece of millet?
Thats what I thought it was at first glance. It appears it’s bothering your bird since it’s squinting.

If it won’t come off with maybe a moist Q-tip, don’t continue to touch it further.

If it doesn’t move, it would then be some kind of abscess that needs to be seen by an avian vet.

I thought the same initially, but it doesn’t seem to be it. Will arrange for for a vet visit.

This is definitely something for the vet to sort out asap

My guess is that it is possibly a seed hull- very scratchy and sore.
