I keep trying foraging stuff! She doesn’t seem to have any interest unless it’s something she can destroy. I’m thinking to take the coconut and maybe do it where it’s split in half, and have nothing to keep the two sides from coming together - that way she has to “open” it, and sticking stuff inside. Like a coconut piñata

The Sandlewood that the toy is made of I have never heard of the wood that is on the toy and the beads are painted, not with food grade coloring. As for the skewers I have a lot of them in which I reserve for the Fill It Up stainless toy. As Mizzely showed in her image, it does unscrew to fill it up. If you just use a quick link to hang it nothing gets pasted it to come off the toy.

Finding cheaper toys with no cotton rope (because I’m *paranoid*) and safe wood and no lacquering and no bells and good reviews is so stupidly difficult.

I am just going to buy a drill and make my own dumb toys.

Your best bet is to make your own toys even if that means buying pre cut, dyed and drilled toy parts.
A few good skewers (I only use expandable habitats skewers for Burt or they are bent, broken or undone in seconds) and a half decent drill will be your best friend and your second best friend will be the local hardware where you get untreated pine and ask the people at the hardware to slice it for you- if they wont then you need a mitre saw too lmao.
