RIP Patches

Patches passed away this weekend. She had been sick from avian gastric yeast but was doing SO much better after medication. She also suffered a foot injury and had a toe amputation about a month ago, which was almost completely healed.

Her weight was stable and she seemed like herself again, until she suddenly became critically ill Friday. She passed away Saturday morning.

After everything she'd been through...so many meds and even a surgery. I really thought she would make it. This was one tough little bird who didn't seem to give up. But I guess something went wrong. :/
