Rollerblading along the road
I just wanted to give rave reviews for the service Joanne Cormier @ Healthy Bird gives. Healthy Bird is located in Barachois, here in New Brunswick. It's about a good 30 min drive from where I live, but we don't have a car so I requested it be mailed.
I placed an order very, very late Monday night and asked her if she could accept an email money transfer as I do not have credit cards. She emailed me Tuesday morning saying she DOES accept EMT and that she just had to check on the Roudybush pellets I wanted. This very afternoon I was checking my email and found she had sent me my invoice AND had already sent out my package this morning! I literally just finished the EMT and the postman was at my door with my order!!!! Now how is that for AMAZING SERVICE!!
The fids now have:
- 3 new shredding toys: the Worm, Full Strand, Stars and Balls Mini
- almost 5 ft of orange plastic chain (I only ordered 2 ft!)
- 2 new treats: Just Blueberries and Nutriberries
- more of their Roudybush Crumbles
- and a new PURPLE BOING!!!
Spoiled rotten birdies! lol I'll get pics as soon as they get used to the changes in their cage. I was so excited to get everything I forgot to snap a pic of all the goodies!!
Sherbert has been on the boing twice! I almost wished I had one for me as it was so soft!! And did I mention it was purple?! Eeep! (that's a good thing lol) And it is capped on both ends so it does not have those cotton shreds I always worry about (I've heard of birds getting entangled in them)
Now I know most people would not get their order this fast, but I never expected mine today either. This is one of the benefits of dealing with someone who has everything already in stock! She does not run through an internet store like most do. She travels many, many times (and km/miles) to various distributors in Canada and the US and picks up the supplies herself and lugs it all home to keep in her store. It is packed floor to ceiling and even her storage space above the store is jam packed full! I know, I saw it when I had the chance to get out to her store this summer. When she receives an order, all she does is run out to her store (It's right beside her house), pull the stuff from the shelves, pack up the box, and send it off! She says she's at the post office sometimes several times a day.
I am extremely impressed, to say the least.
