Lol, I just love the way cresteds will seem to have flopped onto a branch/plant/whatever to sleep for the day.

"Shhh, I'm hiding! I don't think it can see me!"

I like the 3rd pic the best, I just wish that my camera hadn't focused on the screen instead of him.

And the train wreck picture, lol. He slept like that all day.

I have no idea what he was staring at, but it sure was interesting!

Sleeping on, and then waking up on a leaf. I think those were right before I took the last pic.

"fired up" versus calm and indifferent. Amazing how much they can change their colour depending on their mood!

And finally the velocicrestie pictures. Lol, ironic that I named him "Raptor"

Thank you ^_^ It is a LOT easier than taking pictures of a bird since he seems to sit still unless I am trying to hold him! All I need to worry about is my shaky hands ruining the shot, heh. I just love being able to take pics of him when he's sleeping in weird places.

I think they sleep like that so they look like bird poop. Makes for great camouflage I guess.
