About 2ish (maybe earlier) weeks ago I spoke to a breeder that lives locally whom I am good friends with. She said she had 30 eggs between all her Cockatiels and they were due to hatch very shortly, but she mentioned that due to work getting so busy (Christmas is getting closer) that she wouldn't be able to hand-feed/raise any of the babies, which she really wanted to do this year. I asked her if I could take a couple for her and that I would hand-fed/raise them for her, and she agreed to let me do this. She has been emailing me about them and to organize that when they are 2 weeks old (which they will be tomorrow) she will bring me over a few from the first clutch.
The breeder messaged me today, and sadly, 2 of the babies I was going to be getting died just the other day at over a week old, she thinks they got trampled on and likely suffocated.
