Don’t think white spots. I’ll look tomorrow. Not very vocal- unless calling for meAdorable name. Does he have any white spots on the back of his head? If he's a pied, you can't really visually sex. If normal grey you can. Is he very vocal?

Mine is a girl.
A couple of my boys put their butts in the air like she does. She has never done heart wings. She does not whistle and sing like the boys do. Just simple noises like when she wants fed, wants my attention etc. Shes super sweet and causes no grief other than her chronic egg laying.
Cockatiels often get a bad rap for being chronic egg layers. While some are, most aren't. I know one person whose female was 10 before she laid her first egg. Simple things like not giving anything that could be a nest box, rearranging the cage, etc can help prevent egg laying. And making sure they have sufficient calcium in their diet is important too.SheS adorable! Mine does heart wings. Its very nerve racking at times. If she would lay the normal amount of 5 or 6, i wouldnt worry at all. She has laid up to 22 eggs in a row. Changing her cage around doesn’t always help. I make sure she has plenty of calcium , lots of vegetables etc.How do u cope!?

Like sunnymom said, i have one other female thats 4 years old and has laid only 2 eggs.
If i were you, i wouldnt worry. Birds are designed to lay eggs. Rarely a problem but i do understand your concern.
Thank you!I dont mean to sound like im telling horror stories. Its just the facts in my case.
