A long time ago , thst msy have held true when the mutation first appeared.
But I don't think that's the case at all now. I've not experienced it , or heard of other speak about issues with blues.
Only problem would be if an unethical breeding between siblings or related birds.
The only thing I've found to hold true , is the color blue quakers tend to be slightly smaller. I've found thst to be true with both of mine. But just a smidge smaller. In general overall the whole species as well as other species seem to be getting smaller compared to 25 years ago
