Hey!
I understand there’s no definitive way to know a parrots age but is there any clues I could look for?
Yoshi was found outside a few months back so I really have no clue how old he is. (I did look for owners and we’ve seen a vet for anyone worried) I mean my guess is older than 2 since he’s sexually mature and younger than 10? Maybe? Thats just based off personality really. He doesn’t seem to act super old but then again that’s not really a definitive way of knowing. He could be old with a sparky personality haha. I threw in some pics if anyone wants to take a guess.

Once they reach maturity, and unless they become very old, there is really no way to tell with a very few exceptions. Also, when I say "very old", that is even not definitive as all birds, just as with all species of animal, including humans, age differently.

I had a Quaker of unknown age too; my vet said there wasn't really a way to know unfortunately!

Weird how I missed all these quakers!
How's it going with your cutie?
As guesse based off feet and beak , an adult between 2-6, but I'd really lean 3-4.
Educated guess , but still a guess , I've had new weaned baby, up to an advanced aged one , my current are 5-7 I think , wretched terrible of keeping up with hatch dates ! But the nice little feet and nails and beak makes me think yours is younger than my girls .
Age , and especially if had been on a poor diet catches up real quick in the feet and the shape of the beak
