Georgia decided that if Pru got to try, so did she.....

And then Paige decided the same.....

For the record, Georgia didnt like it, Paige actually ate a bunch. We gave some to the dogs too!
FYI: Pumpkin is a great way to illeviate diahreah in dogs One or two tbls' in thier food or straight works great

do your girls actually dig in and remove the seeds and goop? my daughter will but still to this day at 10 yrs old my son can not stomach it at all, makes him gag!

Haha Kelli! Yes my girls LOVE playing with the goop! Thats cute that your son cant take it. My husband has a weak stomache too but Pumpkin guts doesnt quite get to him. Animal poop, wow, that sure does!

lol ya my boy doesnt like cleaning up poop either lol

I think it has to do with how his esophagus wasn't formed right when he was born and he suffered from Acid Reflux from birth til 8 yrs old a lot of odd things make him gag. and if he gags too much he visits the porcelain gods

my daughter on the other hand has never cared just sticks her hands right in , she does get irritated with the strings that won't get off her hands. but heck so do I lol

Me too! The texture of pumpkin is not an enjoyable one, but tolerable I suppose! LOL Prudence actually didnt like the mushy stuff either. SHe wasnt even really a big fan of the actually pumpkin. Its the seed she covets!

I roasted the seeds for the kids and the birds
i roasted a couple pieces they cut out of the pumpkin too and I just remembered its still in the fridge LOL probably not any good now its been there since 2 days before Halloween lol

Yes we roasted our seeds to, though it never occured to me to roast the pumpkin! Maybe she'd like it better that way, as she likes steamed Squash normally.
But the seeds went over well for everyone!
