I am always amazed at these birds that come in here, something so simple and cheap can be a life saver to them. Teco was very scared yesterday and still is freaked out today but....he is not too freaked to destroy a book I gave him. It is just amazing how something so simple can make them so happy and busy. He has not gotten used to the other birds as of yet (that will take some time) but BOY DOES HE LIKE PAPER! The paper destruction may save his feathers and maybe he will leave those sores alone he has chewed inside of his wings..I dont have all of the answers but it is a step in the right direction.

Oh that's wonderful that he likes the paper! We've not found anything that Petrie likes more than her feathers yet :(

Honestly I've had no problem switching all of my birds over to the stuff I want them to eat. I hope it goes easily for you!

He sounds like Chico! He LOVES paper, his favorite toy is a phone book, and he always seems so very proud of the messes he makes with them. :) Gah, I want to go home and give him kisses now... (at work)

That is great that! I am so proud of Teco!!! Awww, that is how Dino was with the phonebooks, however, he was not nearly as bad as Teco. Poor thing! He should be a #1 example about why new parrot owners should do their research and THINK before they just get a bird!!!!
