Keeping a client's bird for help with diet conversion (on sun/safflower seeds and dried fruit currently).
They want step up, foot first not beak first on hand versus arm, stop shoulder rushing, allowing petting/ handling, bathing, cage/bowl aggression, desensitization so it can go into other rooms, crating for transport, and indoor flight training.
In short, they are just tired of being bitten and wish the bird would come out of the cage and feel confident and not spook/crash anytime they try to bring it out or interact with it.
A somewhat tall order but I believe we can do it. I love project birds.
She's kind...just nervous and confused from lack of consisten clear communication and with the diet she's on, she's likely not feeling her best.
Time to enjoy the journey.
(Yes I have disease testing done and quarantine before exposure/any sharing of items etc)
