Possible eye atresia in cockatiel

I got my cocktails from a breeder a while ago, but they both seem to have eye atresia in one, or both eyes. It doesn't seem to hinder them very much, but I am worried because they cannot completely close there eyes and one almost always has red around his left eye, but its not an infection. I don't have a vet close to me, so that is kind of out of the question. I will post photos at some point in this thread

A picture would help.

Avian Chlamydia can cause redness and squinting and other eye symptoms. Can be chronic form. Would need treatment

You can't rule out n illness, or issues. Because birds will hide things until they are to sick to keep doing do. What we think of as classic sick symptoms, are usually when they have been sick for a long time or more rare a rapid decline and then they very very sick , and can be critical

Eyes aren't something to ignore, if sn issue a vet check .

They're soon beautiful. What's the problem with their eyes?

Are you sure? Atresia is really tiny eyes that are malformed. To me these look pretty normal. Actually the last yellow headed guy looks like eyes are small or he’s bald around them.

Eye problems are something worth travelling to a vet to seek treatment for. See if there's somewhere you can get to within a few hours of you.
Long journeys are not ideal, but it is better than not consulting with a professional.

Have you considered that maybe all these birds from one breeder might have an eye infection? In that case it needs to be treated.

Eye issues are always, always worth seeing a vet about. They can go from 0 to 100 too quickly to put off.

Where are you located? We might be able to help you find a close avian vet
