There is a darling Patagonian in the area who I've been seeing for months now. The hubby and I have been debating back and forth, and he decided to email tonight about the cage situation and ask if it was included.

Well....the picture we got was a BIG Patty crammed into a 24x22 cage with no toys and what looks like a seed diet judging by the mess on the bottom of the cage.

We emailed back and gave our cell phone saying we'll come by tomorrow to meet him and take him home. Please pray they respond to us and let Cosmo come home!!

I recently got a Patty .. almost 2 .. was also on a seed diet. Took about a month, but I've got her onto pellets now .. she was pretty easy to convert.

Please, please keep us updated on Cosmo!! I've had my eye on him for months, but timing and funds were not in sync.

I would love to see a member of the this forum get him, he's been looking for a new home for most of this year.

Thanks everyone! The guy emailed us back about coming to get him on Tuesday, but I don't know if that's because I said "tomorrow" in the email and he didn't open it until this morning. He said to give him a call at 2:30, so we will do so then!!

Luckily, I have a cage already that was going to stay at my parents house for when Tango had to stay over, but there's no reason that can't be moved on over here! It should be plenty of room since it's CAG sized.

The diet will be harder...but who knows. Petey only ate sunflower seeds, and she welcomed new foods because she was so sick of them! I know I was lucky with her, but she LOVED pellets the moment she tasted one. I'll just pray that's a conure thing

Thanks for the thoughts everyone! I'm hoping to push the time up to today instead of tomorrow, so keep hoping!
