Is she playing or trying to get frisky? She's pushing it with her beak and chasing the bone all over that tray, I’m really just hoping she’s having a good time and not a good time.

I want to think it’s play because she’s picking it up and throwing it and then chasing it. But I also know that I am more hopeful than anything that it’s not hormones

I was thinking the same thing. But I don't have girls....

My old YCA George had an acrylic bone that he used to fling around and push around the bottom of his cage with his beak. I think that Isadora is probably just playing like George did.

It’s so hard to tell with her. This morning the bone is on the tray, but she hasn’t even looked in its direction…

George would ignore the acrylic bone for weeks on end then suddenly it would be his favorite toy for a few days. He never got overly friendly with it though.
