Plant ideas for my doves aviary...

I want to get a plant for my dove new aviary. Any ideas of what they would like and what would be safe?

I don't think doves are big chewers of plants(but i could be wrong)

but I know spider plants are safe,

here is a list of plants safe for birds i would think if its safe for parrots its fine for doves too

For my finch aviary I built when I was 14, I had a lot of fake ivys and a couple fake trees in there:D

How about some shade type impatiens? Jade looks cool and does well in the shade too. In my experience bamboo needs quite a bit of light. Even the so called 'indoor varieties'.

edit: weird, this one says avoid ficus. I always thought ficus was on the safe list, as it is on Kelli's list..

I was thinking about a fern. Hmmmm, I don't know. Seems like a plant in there would be nice. Most of the lists don't have pictures so I don't even know where to start....

a. print the list, then google each one for images.
b. print the list, and take it to the nursery.
